Here is my round up by category for the month of July:

Food and Drink

Booch pop is something that I saw Health Ade release in July and knew that I had to try it out. The Health Ade Kombucha is one of my favorites, and I was interested in seeing what this drink was like.

There are 3 different flavors (Ginger Fizz, Lemon Lime and Pom Berry). I know some people aren’t a fan of ginger, and honestly in this drink it’s not as strong as it is in Kombucha. But, also I love Ginger personally, so you would have to be the judge of that. Lemon Lime reminded me of a lighter version of Sprite kinda and Pom Berry is kind of self explanatory (sorry I have nothing to compare it to).

Booch pop is more like a fizzy juice or lite soda, but with less sugar. It is best chilled or served over ice. I ordered a variety pack on Amazon and it came in a few days via Prime. If you are already a fan of the Health Ade brand, then I think you will like Booch Pop as well. Also, for those that aren’t too crazy about kombucha, I would definitely recommend you try Booch Pop, because it does have probiotics in it and is similar… but not as strong. I hope that makes sense.

Water is something that may not be a big deal to some, but it is huge for me!!! With the exception of kombucha, smoothies or tea you will not catch me with out a bottle of water of some kind. I carry water with me every where. It’s not a game I live by staying hydrated no matter what. Any way…

Aqua Carpatica sent me a few cases of water in July and I was over the moon and so thankful for them being so generous. Aqua Carpatica is a natural spring water that is Nitrate and Sodium Free. It is Alkaline with a pH of 8.2 and it is so refreshing. You can taste and see how clean it is!! It is some of the best water that I have had personally.

Thank you again to Aqua Carpatica for keeping me hydrated for the last month.

Unreal Dark Chocolate Coconut Bars are something that I have seen a few people talk about and they sounded so good, so I decided to try them myself. They are unreal, because they are Vegan and don’t use artificial ingredients… but remind me of the same goodness of a Mounds chocolate bar. They have less sugar than the regular chocolate bars out there, which makes it a better choice if you ask me.

The ingredients in the dark chocolate coconut bars include: organic coconut, organic cassava syrup, dark chocolate (chocolate liquor, cane sugar, cocoa butter, vanilla)

Unreal has several different chocolate bars to choose from like, dark chocolate caramel peanut nougat bars, dark chocolate almond butter cups and milk chocolate gems

Check them out and give them a try!! You won’t regret it!!

I ordered a set of 3 packs that have the mini bars in them on Amazon. they are great for on the go, or if you just want a little something sweet and don’t want a whole candy bar.

I honestly love ordering snacks on Amazon, because they literally have everything there and it’s super convenient, because it comes directly to your house. I have found a lot of snacks on Amazon that I have been wanting to try that I can’t find in stores, so it has been fun for me.

Maya’s Cookies, I first saw on instagram, and found that they were local in San Diego. They are America’s #1 black owned vegan bakery, and they are amazing!! You would never know that they were vegan, because they taste just as good as regular baked goods. They have a home baked feel, which I absolutely love!!! If you are local in San Diego… you can do a pick up order, find them in local stores and coffee shops or you can get cookies directly shipped to you. They ship all over the US. They have pretty quick shipping!!

I ordered the half dozen sample box, and it came with 6 different cookie flavors. There were classics like chocolate chip and snickerdoodle, which are my fave!!! There was also birthday cake, funfetti, s’mores and marble fudge. They came in a super cute box individually wrapped and super fresh!! I enjoyed every single cookie and I look forward to ordering again.

Health and Wellness

Vitamins and supplements are something that I have actively been taking the time to get better at taking in the past couple of years, and finding supplements that are the best for me and my body has been great. I’m able to have the proper energy and focus to get through my day to day, and I feel good too because I take supplements daily. I am not perfect, there are days that I fall off, but then I am right back on my routine the next day.

Life Seasons reached out to me this past month to try out their supplements, and I was very interested in their brand, because they are all about natural health and healing.

I love the Life Seasons philosophy and everything that they stand for when it comes to natural health, and I was excited to try out their supplements and have the opportunity to be able to share them with you. They use all natural ingredients in their products and no fluffy stuff or additives, which is exactly what you should look for in your supplements. I personally do as much as I can on my own with living a healthy lifestyle and diet, and don’t go to the doctor unless I absolutely have to. Supplements have definitely been a big help with my overall health and bodily functions.

Here are the supplements that I have been taking this month and how they help the body:

Digestivi-T : Digestivi-T™ helps break down food, and contains beneficial bacteria to promote health of the entire digestive tract. It enhances intestinal integrity by promoting nutrient and water absorption and helping decrease allergic antigens.

Immuni-T: Immuni-T helps build the body’s natural resistance to immune challenges.  It does this by supporting the stimulation of white blood cell production, helping to inhibit the replication of harmful bacteria, and supporting overall communication within the immune system.*

Now with elderberry! We recently reformulated Immuni-T and added elderberry to our potent lineup of ingredients.  Elderberry contains powerful antioxidants and anthocyanins known to fight free radicals and ease inflammation. Studies show it may lessen the intensity of illnesses caused by common pathogens, like cold and flu viruses.*

Anxie-T : Anxie-T™ helps the body feel more calm and relaxed, mentally and physically. It nourishes the nervous system, providing a sense of wellbeing and relaxation. Anxie-T supports the body's natural ability to deal with common symptoms of stress, including nervousness and nervous exhaustion, stress-related muscle tension, anxious fearfulness, and stress-related sleep problems.

Adrenal-T : Adrenal-T™ supports the body’s natural ability to rejuvenate, manage stress and conserve energy. It supports healthy endocrine system functions, which supports healthy mental and physical performance.

Life Seasons adrenal supplement helps your body level out and maintain a consistent, sustainable level of energy. Unlike caffeine or other jolting stimulants, it restores your energy levels without making you feel jittery. Most people begin to feel noticeable effects from Adrenal-T within the first week of taking it daily. Everyone experiences different levels of adrenal fatigue. So, some people may need longer to feel the effects of this supplement. In some cases it takes 6-8 weeks.

For me especially during this time my immune health and digestion have been top priority, so I take supplements to be able to keep everything all good in that area, and these have been a big help!! I feel amazing!! I know it takes at least and month for the supplements to really start working, so as I continue to take them I look forward to keep adding in what my body needs to be at it’s best.

Life Seasons has a variety of supplements for all different situations and conditions that you can choose from, check them out and take control of your health and your life.

Skin and Body Care

4 the Love of All was introduced to me by a friend recently and I had a chance to use their body butter. It’s so good!!! Before I get to that let me share a little bit about the brand.

4 the Love of All is a Black woman owned brand that is based in New Jersey. Their mission is to preserve your right to choose products that have quality and integrity. Their products are effective, pure and plant derived. You deserve to have peace of mind knowing that what you put on your body not only feels good but is also good for you. The products include body butter, body oil and body scrubs just to name a few. They are made with natural ingredients that will help your skin to feel amazing. (Excerpt from the 4 the Love of All site)

The body butter has an amazing softness that will keep your skin moisturized all day long. I have been loving it this past month, and had to share this brand with you all. Support and check them out here.

Kayaire CBD is a brand that I also learned about recently and I had the chance to help creative direct one of their recent shoots. They are another local brand that is Black woman owned here in San Diego.

their mission is to utilize the CBD benefits in luxury cosmetics for minority women and men, and persons with special skincare needs.

A little bit on CBD

CBD stands for Cannabidiol, a chemical compound extracted from the Cannabis plant and used for its medicinal and herbal properties. It is used in several cosmetics and is known for its use in reducing acne, relieving pain and benefits for heart health. Kayaire works hard to bring to use the positive effects of cannabidiol taking mankind back to organic and plant-based products.

Kayaire products include a cleanser, toner, polisher and moisturizer. I have personally used their polisher as a body scrub, because it worked better on my body then on my skin. The cleanser and toner are both very gentle and don’t feel very harsh on the skin. There is a little bit of a scent, so if you have ultra sensitive skin that is something to be aware of. I’m still testing out the cleanser and toner, but so far it has been good. I tend to break out a few times a month on the bottom of my face and I look for my skin care to help maintain and keep blemishes under control when ever they decide to pop up. With skin care everyone’s skin is different, so I always recommend that you check out the products yourself! Don’t take my word for it!
