Beauty and Wellness Favorites - October Edition
There are quite a few brands and products that have been sent to me, that I have had the opportunity to try out. I’m not always able to try everything right away, so sometimes it takes me a little bit of time to talk about it. I want to make sure that when I do try out new products that I give myself enough time to experience them myself before sharing my thoughts. In this round up I am sharing a few wellness and beauty items that I have been loving and have been on repeat. check them out below!!!
Flamingo is a brand that I have been using for quite a while. I have used their razors for shaving and have been sent a few products in the past several months that I have been testing out. They recently launched a full line of shave care products that I have been using in the shower for shaving my legs. The shave oil is amazing, and a game changer!!! I usually use a shave cream or soap, which I know is not the best for your skin. Since using the oil I have noticed that my legs feel less irritated after shaving, there is also a serum that pairs well too for after shower care!!! These are some great products to take a look at and try if you are looking to switch up your shaving routine.

Huel is a brand that I just learned about I believe before the Summer season, and they have been my go to for protein, snacks and other things that have vitamins for daily health. They just recently released their ready to drink Daily Greens in a few flavors, and they sent me some to try out. They also have a daily greens powder that you can mix in to your favorite drink, smoothie, or I just like drinking it alone with water and ice. Both the daily greens powder and ready to drink daily greens taste amazing and has tons of vitamins and benefits, like steady energy, great for the gut and brain clarity. I also love the Hule complete nutrition bars!! They have great tasting flavors to choose from and are the perfect snack for taking on the go. I am out and about a lot for work, so having something that I can pack with me that will help sustain my body and energy is a big priority of mine. Dibs beauty has been one of my go tos for quite a few makeup products lately!!!! Their blush duos are a staple in my makeup bag. The colors are so pretty and pop on my skin. They just recently dropped a mascara that is not just a mascara, but it is a duo with a brown primer as well. You can wear the primer alone if you want to, or have a more dramatic eye look with the mascara side added. My lashes have been loving this mascara!! It gives great definition, and is buildable for the type of look that you may personally like. Dibs has had some awesome releases lately, and they are not done yet!! On October 7th they will be releasing their LoveBeam Setting Powders on dibsbeauty.com and ulta.com October 12th.
The setting powders are available in 5 different shades. They are brightening , blurring and talc FREE. I was able to receive the powder duos early and have been trying them out for the past few weeks. I have been using the color 444 - The Right Road, and it has been so nice and soft on my skin. The brightening powder has been perfect for setting my under eye and it gives a kind of airbrush finish as well. The powder duos are $34. I love that Dibs has skin care in their products and that the skin doesn’t have to suffer under makeup like I feel it does with other products at times. If you haven’t had a chance to try out Dibs Beauty, I highly recommend them especially if you looking for a better for your skin kind of makeup.

Activated You is another brand that was pretty new to me, but I had seen ads online for their products. They have quite a few different supplements for skin health, gut health and sleep. I was sent over a few products to try out, and my go to has been the Morning Complete powder. It comes in a container (shown in the photo) and you can also get a variety pack with packets that are great for taking on the go. It has prebiotics, probiotics, green superfoods and fiber. It is perfect for regular digestive function, daily energy and overall wellness!! If you have issues using the bathroom, this is something good to try!! Not only does it taste good, but it will help clean you out (in a nice way) and will help if you have issues with bloating. I noticed from drinking it in the past month that my stomach has been the flatest that it has ever been in a while, even with me working out… I have had a little bit of lower belly bloat that I most likely needed to clear out!! The morning complete has been a perfect addition to my morning routine, and I look forward to drinking it for the benefits.

Allbirds is a brand that I had seen before, but never have had the opportunity to experience them until now. Allbirds is a shoe brand that is all about sustainability, innovation and comfort!! I had a chance to receive the Wool Cruiser that they partnered with Pantone to curate. There are 19 different shades to choose from. I have the Sapphire Blue with white soles, and they feel like you are walking on clouds!! It’s crazy!!! These shoes say it in the name they are made for cruising and walking around town. The wool is recycled Italian Felt Wool that is carefully sorted, and it is so soft. This is the perfect shoe to style in so many ways for the fall season. It is warm and so comfy!! I’m looking at other colors and styles that I want to try out next from Allbirds.
