Summer Essentials from Macys
Summer is in Full swing and you are most likely either looking for new pieces or digging those pieces out of your closet from last year. Either way there are always those staple pieces that you just can't do with out having during the summer time. I have teamed up with Macy's to share some essentials and must haves that will help you survive the summer heat!! Check them out below!
Number 1 on the list is shorts. There are so many styles to choose from!! You can do a denim short, linen, long or short... there are so many possibilities. My favorite style right now are the shorts that have prints on them like pictured below. I also like a more loose fitting short like the golden color ones in the next photo. I actually use to not be a really big fan of shorts at all, but I have changed my mind over the years and have found the right ones that fit my body type.

Another essential is sandals!! The statement sandal is big this season and there are so many cute ones. These yellow slides jumped out me and I knew I had to include them.
Another thing that I like for the summer time are smaller purses or crossbody bags!! They come in handy when you are going out to different events and summer social gatherings. I don't know about you all, but I can't carry a big bag all of the time. It depends on where I am going, but it can be too much.
Maxi dresses, Maxi skirts and flowing material is another essential to consider adding to your closet if it fits in to your style. Leave the tighter material for the winter time!!
I saw this dress from Max Studio London and fell in love with the style and how light it felt when I put it on. I have also been obsessed with off the shoulder pieces!!!

Last essential is swim wear!!! Going to the beach, lake, or pool you would most likely want to have a swimsuit handy. I love checking out the new swim styles every season!! I saw this suit along with others that had fun sayings on them and knew I had to pick one to share.
