Last week I didn’t get a chance to do a Friday Weekly Round Up, so we are back this week!!! I have received and bought a few items in the past couple of weeks that I am excited to share with yall. The purpose of me doing these round up are to share new brands with you all and products that I have been trying out that I personally love.

Our story begins with the need for melanin women to have a sunscreen brand that caters exclusively to them.
From carrying expensive umbrellas to the beach and downright neglecting to go outside all together, our founder thought it was time to create a natural non-white residue sunscreen brand for women of color.
2016 was the year Black Girl Sunscreen was created in the ever-popular city of Miami, Florida. Beach days are always necessary but blotchy makeup and white residue are two things we were frustrated with when enjoying a sunny day.
In fact, all outside activities began to come to a halt since we knew how much sun rays would damage the skin. (even ours)
I heard about Black Girl Sunscreen a couple of years ago, and I have been wanting to try it out!! I saw that they were sold in Target and decided to buy it a couple of weeks ago. It was the best decision!!! I have tried so many sunscreens through out the years and a lot of them have this terrible white cast, which is so annoying as a person with brown skin!!! I have been using their ‘Make It Matte’ sunscreen for the face, and it is gel that goes on super sheer. I will never use another sunscreen brand ever again. If you are a person of color, this sunscreen is for you!!!
Las Americas Premium Outlets
I recently had the opportunity to partner with Las Americas Premium Outlets to share their hot deals for the Spring season, and I bought a few things.
I went to Marc Jacobs bought the Jelly Snapshot bag and also a pair of simple studs. The bag is the perfect small bag to carry out and about in the Spring and Summer time!! I am honestly not a huge designer brand girl… I definitely love a good bargain, but it felt good to just treat myself to something nice. I also stopped by Guess and Under Armour as well and picked up a few items. Las Americas is one of my favorite outlets to go to here in San Diego, and it’s always fun to run around there and shop!! If you haven’t been there yet, you should definitely check them out.
Sunsat Boutique
I have shared this boutique in another post and I received a few more items from them recently. Sunsat Boutique has trendy pieces and everything is super affordable.
I was sent this gold snake chain necklace, that is perfect for layering!! I have been wearing it quite a bit lately with shorter chains and it has been a fun piece to mix and match with. I have shared other pieces and will be doing other fashion posts soon featuring their items.
