Disco Diva Photoshoot

One thing I love about being a model, is transforming into fun characters. Something that I always tell people about modeling and something to keep in mind for others that want to model, is that you are playing a character often times with out speaking. It is a form of acting, believe it or not.

Last July (2021) I had the opportunity to work with a stylist, photographer and makeup artist in Los Angeles to create something super fun!!! The stylist reached out to me through Instagram, because she found me through some other shoots that I had previously. It really does pay to share your work online!!! (Just saying yall!!) The theme was a very disco, 70s and afro fabulous vibe. The stylist shared mood boards and inspo that she had. She shared the outfits with me as well before the shoot, then I met up with everyone in LA during the day of the shoot. I had never met or worked with anyone before this shoot, so it was a lot of fun for me to meet new creative people with in the industry. It is always exciting for me to connect and work with new people.
