Divas Wigs Review

If you have been following me for a while, then you may have seen the evolution of me and my hair styles. I am someone who is not afraid to try different things and I think that hair is a ton on fun! Wigs are one way that I like to switch up my hair styles with out having to completely change anything to my natural hair. Wigs are a great protective style and a fun way to wear a different styles, textures and even try a new hair color.

Divas Wigs recently reached out to me and asked me to do a review for them, and I was excited because I was actually thinking about what new wig style I wanted to possibly try. Perfect timing right!! I’ve been wearing my wig for a couple of weeks now, and have been playing around with the hair and styling it in different ways. Continue reading to view my thoughts below.

(Above) is a look at how Divas Wigs come packaged. In the box you are given a wig cap, brush and then the wig itself comes in a nice satin bag. The particular wig that I received is their TAMIA-16 INCHES 180% DENSITY 6' PARTING SPACE HUMAN HAIR LACE FRONT WIG-DW091 (Get $10 off of this wig by using code BLOGGAGBT ).

Details:

  • Hair type: Indian Virgin Hair

  • Length: 16 inches Left side and 14 on the right side

  • Density: 180%

  • My cap size: Average (I have kind of a small head, so I do want to try their smaller size to compare. This size works fine for me, but I would love to see the difference.)

  • Lace color: Medium Brown ( It was easy for me to blend in to my natural hair line)

  • Cap Construction: 6 inch parting space lace front

**There are options when you order yourself to get the wig preplucked, knots bleached and you can pick what color lace that you want. You can customize any of their wigs to fit exactly the way how you want it.

The hair itself doesn’t shed a ton and it was easy to comb through. I didn’t experience any issues with tangles. I loved the texture and how luxe it felt and looked when first taking it out of the box. I can tell that they use high quality hair!! I washed and conditioned my wig when I first received it and styled it using some leave in and mousse to define the curls a little more. On a different day I blow dried and straighten the hair to see how it looked. To curl I used flexi rods on one day and then I also curled the hair using a curling iron as well. Both techniques worked!! You can see in the photos below when I wore curly and straight.

This wig is classified as glueless, but when applying I used Got 2 Be Glued, just to be safe. Can’t have any mishaps while out and about. There are combs on the inside of the wig and adjustable straps to help keep it secure.

Over all I do recommend Divas Wigs!! The quality, texture and feel of the hair is amazing, and they have a ton of different styles and lengths to choose from. Use Code BLOGGAGBT01 to save 15% off of any regular price wig purchase. I can’t wait to try more styles and share them with all soon.
