Las Vegas! This is such a popular destination for a quick getaway. Vegas is one of America’s most popular traveling destinations. Bachelor parties, bridal showers, night-time parties… there is so much to do and see.

If you are planning a one-day trip to Vegas and are unsure how to go about it, worry not. This article will guide you through things you can do, to make your day more than memorable.

Planning

First and foremost, you need to plan and strategize things in order. If you plan your stuff ahead of time, you can save time. Vegas has a lot to offer, so don’t overwhelm yourself.

Research the best time to plan your visit, make a list of places you want to see to visit and check for hotel reservations. Think about the people you are going to be traveling with. Find common interests and settle for visiting various places.

The city is internationally acclaimed as one of the greatest resort cities in the world. It offers great nightlife, shopping, fine dining,  and much more.

Starting your trip

While Last Vegas at night is what most people have in mind, several things are worth visiting during the day, as well. There is the Las Vegas Natural History Museum and the Neon Museum that you can visit. You can explore Fremont Street which holds attractions like Downtown Container Park, Slot Zilla Zip Line, which is said to be a popular thrill attraction, to add to the fun.

Experience Vegas on foot

There is a place in Las Vegas known as The Strip, which you definitely should add on your go-to-places list. It is the central section of Las Vegas Boulevard that runs through the city for two and a half miles.

The Strip is lined with luxury hotels, performance venues, and many more attractions. All of these can be experienced on foot while going for long walks. When you are taking it all in, you get to feel the true spirit of Las Vegas.

Eating

While you are taking in all that the city of Las Vegas has to offer, you may get a bit hungry. There are a number of amazing restaurants to try while in the city. Food always always adds a little something extra to the Vegas experience.

Gordon Ramsey is a famous chef, who has his famous Gordon Ramsey Burger, just across the street from The Chelsea. You could always visit the famous Hard Rock Café near the more famous MGM.

One thing to keep in mind when you visit the different eateries in Vegas, is there is no need to make a reservation. For the most part you can ask for a table, have a walk around, and the staff will text you as soon as your table is ready. But if you know that a place is going to be crowded, it is a good idea to book ahead of time.

Theme Hotels

After a fine eating experience, check out the major hotel attractions along The Strip. There are sites with breathtaking views that you can admire along the way.

A few places to visit: the medieval-style Excalibur Hotel, as well as the Luxor Hotel, which are a great sights to see.

Other attractions

The Venetian, located on the Strip near Madame Tussauds, is one of the finest resorts for sightseeing in Vegas. It features particularly impressive attractions that are very hard to miss.

It also holds a theme shopping mall, resembling the city of Venice. This beautiful mall holds replicas of Venice’s famous bridges, amid other canals.

If you visit the Outdoor Gondola Rides, it can turn out to be a really fun and exciting way to experience the shopping arcade inside. With Italian music playing in the background, this treat is sure to set your mood in the right manner.

The Stratosphere Tower will undoubtedly make your trip more memorable. This tower is rising over the city’s skyline. It has been called “the tallest freestanding observation tower” in the country.

If you want to be adventurous on your trip, you can always take thrill rides such as Insanity, Big Shot, Sky Jump among others. You should go to the observation decks and take the beautiful view in, for as long as you like.

The Free Show that this city has to offer, is sure to make your day feel complete. Vegas is known to be anything but cheap. The city was designed to make sure you get a lot in terms of entertainment, taste, and experience. But the amazing lights and grand shows sure know how to lure people in for a luxurious experience.

Adventure 

With just a short drive from Las Vegas, located in the Moapa Valley. This incredible place is home to over a thousand acres of desert trails. You should check out this Nevada desert area if you are a fan of hiking and adventure.

Various sites let you explore these areas all on your own with las vegas off road rentals. These are family-friendly and offer you a chance to experience dunes, wildlife, and amazing landscapes.
